In the 1985 film "Alamo Bay", a despondent Vietnam veteran's livelihood is threatened by the influx of Vietnamese immigrants into his Texas bay town's fishing industry, pushing him to the edge of desperation. As tensions escalate, he joins forces with other fishermen and the KKK in a violent campaign against the immigrant fishermen, based on true historical events that took place in Texas in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
