Untold Deal with the Devil

Untold: Deal with the Devil documents the life of Christy Martin, a boxer who rose to fame despite personal demons, abuse and a threat on her life. Raised in West Virginia, she began boxing as a youth and was eventually married to her trainer, Jim Martin, who would later attempt to murder her after years of emotional and physical abuse. The documentary follows Martin's career and its aftermath, including her attempts to re-enter the boxing ring despite being shot in an attempted murder, and her efforts to spread awareness about domestic violence through public speaking engagements.
