Marta (Ludovica Francesconi) is a somewhat ugly girl who lives with her best friends Jacopo and Federica. She suffers from cystic fibrosis, which could kill her soon due to ineffective treatments. Marta falls in love with the beautiful Arturo after meeting him at a party, but she doesn't reveal her illness to him.
