Flavia, the Heretic

In 13th century Apulia, southern Italy, a convent is overrun by the fanatical members of the Tarantula cult, unleashing a reign of terror that desecrates the sacred site in gruesome and bloody acts. Flavia, played by Florinda Bolkan, a nun with a score to settle, collaborates with the invaders' leader Ahmed, as the Ottoman forces take over the region. This nunsploitation film, directed by Gianfranco Mingozzi, combines elements of action, drama, and horror, set against a backdrop of medieval chaos and intrigue.
