Fortress

Forced to accept a spot on the crew of a battered B-17 Flying Fortress bomber named Lucky Lass, a young and naive pilot struggles to be accepted by his tight-knit Irish American crew during World War II's Mediterranean campaign against Italy. As tensions rise and the crew faces a string of losses, the new pilot must navigate treacherous skies, salvage their damaged aircraft, and earn the trust of his skeptical comrades.
