Gun Runners

In this documentary film, Julius Arile (played by himself) and Robert Matanda (played by himself), two former Kenyan tribal warriors turned marathon runners, face challenges as they try to pursue their new career amidst corruption, mistrust, and jealousy in the North Kenyan countryside. The film follows the men for over 10 years, documenting their training, races, and personal struggles, including Arile's pursuit of politics and a career at the UN, while Matanda becomes increasingly disenchanted with his life choices.
