Joey Cheng (Shu Qi) is haunted by shadowy images and delusional spirits after a series of unsuccessful suicide attempts, coinciding with her pregnancy. Seeking help from her secretive ex-lover Sam, she unravels the mystery behind the ghostly apparitions - a vengeful spirit of his late wife who died by jumping in front of a train, now awaiting Joey's unborn baby's birth to reincarnate within it.
