Terminal Island

The film "Terminal Island" (1973) is a drama-thriller about a group of prisoners on a remote island in California, after the U.S. Supreme Court bans the death penalty. Carmen Simms (Ena Hartman), a female inmate, forms relationships with some of the male prisoners, including A.J. Thomas (Don Marshall). The women must navigate their new roles and alliances with the men, who are fighting each other and the tyrannical camp leader, while trying to survive on the island.
