Affliction

A small town policeman in New Hampshire must investigate a suspicious hunting accident, only to discover that his own life is unraveling along with the tangled threads of corruption and deceit that lead him down a dark and treacherous path. Shot against the bleak backdrop of winter in northern New Hampshire, this psychological drama slowly disintegrates its protagonist's mental state as he becomes obsessed with uncovering the truth behind the fatal hunting accident.
