Within the Whirlwind

During Stalin's reign of terror, a literature professor's life is brutally ravaged as she's falsely convicted of anti-Soviet agitation and sentenced to 10 years hard labor in a Siberian gulag. In this desolate world, where hope seems lost, she finds an unlikely lifeline in the form of Dr. Anton Walter, a Crimea German political prisoner who becomes her lover and catalyst for redemption.
