Based on the true story of two young Slovak Jews who escape from Auschwitz in 1944, this film is a powerful and poignant account of courage and determination. Rudolf Vrba and Alfréd Wetzler, two prisoners who risk everything to expose the atrocities committed at the camp, are driven by hope that their evidence could save lives. As they navigate the treacherous landscape of war-torn Europe, they become embroiled in a desperate struggle for justice.
