The Ninth Configuration

Colonel Hudson Kane (Stacy Keach), a former member of a USMC special unit, is posted to a secluded gothic castle housing a military asylum as an army psychiatrist. There, he indulges the inmates' delusions, allowing them free rein to express their fantasies. Among the patients is former astronaut Billy Cutshaw (Scott Wilson), who has aborted a Moon launch and suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). As Kane navigates his new role, he begins to confront his own demons, including nightmares of his brother Vincent, a former patient and murderer.
