The Last Command

During the tumultuous years of the Texas War of Independence in 1836, Jim Bowie finds himself at the forefront of a pivotal struggle that will leave him forever changed. As a Mexican citizen married to the daughter of Mexico's Vice-Governor, Bowie is torn between his loyalty to his homeland and his growing friendship with General Santa Anna, who has become increasingly authoritarian and power-hungry. With the fate of Texas hanging in the balance, Bowie must confront his differences with Santa Anna and lead the Texians in a desperate bid for independence - culminating in a fateful siege at the Alamo.
