Violence in a Women's Prison is a 1982 film directed by Bruno Mattei, starring Laura Gemser as Emanuelle, a journalist who goes undercover to report on the cruelties behind bars at Santa Catarina Women's Penitentiary. As she investigates, Emanuelle faces brutality, attacks, solitary confinement, and other forms of abuse, but ultimately finds help from Dr. Moran and some prisoners, leading to the perpetrators being arrested.
