A Season for Miracles

"A miracle occurs for a homeless family consisting of two wayward children and their protective aunt with the help of an angel, who helps them in the sleepy town of Bethlehem just before Christmas when they are threatened with foster care after the sister's overdose forces them to flee. A young woman named Emilie Thompson (Carla Gugino) takes charge of her niece Alanna (Mae Whitman) and nephew J.T. (Eve Sabara), while a versatile guardian angel, played by Patty Duke, helps them with kindnesses and coincidences that give the trio a chance at happiness."
