East of the Mountains

Tom Skerritt plays retired heart surgeon Ben Givens, who takes his dog back to his boyhood home in Eastern Washington after being diagnosed with terminal cancer. Along the way, he encounters a couple of young rock climbers and is reminded of powerful memories from his past. As he navigates this unexpected turn, Ben exhibits characteristic stoicism and determination.
