In 2049 on a post-apocalyptic version of Toronto, young Ti-Jeanne (Mouna Traoré) must risk death by a spirit to take her place as a Caribbean priestess and save her people. The survival of the islanders depends on her decision, set against the backdrop of a forsaken island off the coast of Toronto.
