Wassup Rockers

A group of Guatemalan American and Salvadoran American teenagers in South Los Angeles opt to bus into Hollywood and Beverly Hills, where they attract local rich girls and plenty of trouble with the police, jealous boyfriends, and nervous parents. Characterized by their punk rock style and skateboarding, the group faces racial tension in Beverly Hills. Janice Dickinson makes an appearance as a rich alcoholic divorcee, while Jeremy Scott appears as a photographer. The film's climax occurs on a skate-ride around Beverly Hills.
