The Patrol

The Patrol is a 2013 British action drama film set in Helmand Province, Afghanistan in 2006. It follows British soldiers as they battle against the Taliban in one of the most dangerous places on Earth during Operation Herrick in 2006. Owain Arthur stars as Taff, a soldier caught up in this struggle. The film won the Film of the Festival award at Raindance Film Festival 2013 and received praise from critics for its powerful portrayal of war on a small scale.
