The Perks of Being a Wallflower

In 1991, Charlie, a high school freshman struggling with clinical depression, finds friendship and love with Sam and Patrick, two seniors who become his mentors. With Sam's support, he begins to open up about his past traumas, including the loss of his Aunt Helen, and learns to confront his demons. As Charlie navigates his first year of high school, he discovers the joys of music, relationships, and self-acceptance with the help of his friends.
