Beware the Slenderman

The 2016 documentary film "Beware the Slenderman" explores the infamous stabbing incident in which two 12-year-old girls attempted to murder one of their friends in an attempt to appease Slender Man, a fictional monster from an Internet phenomenon called "creepypasta." The film features interviews with the families of the would-be murderers and utilizes various YouTube videos and footage from games like Slender: The Eight Pages and Minecraft. Director Irene Taylor Brodsky spent 18 months capturing the story.
