In 1930s China, during the Second Sino-Japanese War, daredevil airplane pilot and spy Fok Ming-ming (Michelle Yeoh) must rescue the ruler of Kaa Yi from the hands of ruthless Japanese General Toga (Matsui Tetsuya). Joining forces with Secret Agent 001 (Yee Tung-Sing), conman Drifter Conman (Ng Yiu-hon), and rebellious princess Chin-chin (Lau Chin-Dai), Ming-ming battles against the Imperial Japanese Army in a fight for the town's freedom.
