The Pope of Greenwich Village

In the 1984 film "The Pope of Greenwich Village," Mickey Rourke and Eric Roberts play cousins Charlie and Paulie, two Italian-American men who orchestrate a safe-cracking plot to finance their expensive tastes after getting fired from their jobs as waiting staff in Greenwich Village. The heist goes sour, and they must navigate the consequences with local Mafia boss Eddie Grant and corrupt police officials, including Kenneth McMillan's character Barney. Daryl Hannah plays Paulie's pregnant girlfriend, Diane, who ultimately leaves Charlie for his alimony.
