The Possession

A middle-aged woman's life is disrupted when she finds an old wooden box at a yard sale that whispers and hums in Polish; later, her 10-year-old daughter discovers a similar box at a yard sale and becomes increasingly disturbing as the malevolent spirit inside takes hold. Clyde Brenek (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) teams with his ex-wife Stephanie (Kyra Sedgwick) to find a way to end the curse on their child, Em, who is possessed by a powerful ancient spirit known as Abyzou or "Taker of Children."
