Speak Up

The documentary explores the intersections of discrimination, art and blackness among 24 black women from European colonial history in Africa and the Antilles. It follows their experiences as women of color and the stereotypes associated with them, examining two main themes: being a woman of color in a white environment and being a woman of color in a black environment.
