Prison of Secrets

Lynn Schaffer (Stephanie Zimbalist) is a loving mother and wife who gets arrested for a crime she did not realize she had committed. She refuses a plea-bargain and opts for a trial, leading to her conviction and 10-year sentence in a women's prison. Inside the corrupt institution, Lynn faces difficulties adjusting to harsh conditions but also finds allies in fellow inmates Frannie (Kimberly Russell) and others who are subjected to abuse by guards like Sergeant Ed Crang (Dan Lauria). With the help of her husband Larry (Gary Frank), who runs a radio station, Lynn informs the media about the corruption, gathering evidence that ultimately leads to the firing and replacement of over 20 corrupt guards.
