The Purge

In a dystopian near-future, the U.S. government legalizes a 12-hour period of chaos and violence known as "The Purge," during which all crime is permitted. A wealthy family, the Sandins, must defend themselves when their home is invaded by a gang of masked killers during this annual event. As they fight for survival, dark secrets about class struggle and social inequality are exposed, forcing the family to confront the true nature of their privileged existence.
