Shadow of the Thin Man

High society sleuths Nick and Nora Charles run into a variety of shady characters while investigating a race-track murder. In San Francisco, they find themselves entangled in a complex web of deceit and blackmail when a jockey is found dead and a rival reporter is killed. As the investigation unfolds, Nick's clever deductions lead him to reveal that the murderer was not who anyone expected, but it was all part of a larger scheme orchestrated by one man with a grudge against several suspects.
