The General's Son

Park Sang-min stars as Kim Du-han, a young man released from prison who rises to the top of a gang for his fighting skills in Japanese-occupied South Korea. Born on the streets after losing his mother at eight years old, Du-han's natural strength and ability attract recognition on the mean streets of Jongno. Recognized by Shin Ma-jeok, the head of a student gang, as the son of General Kim Jwa-jin who fought against the Japanese army, Du-han becomes the leader of the Jongno gang after protecting Korean vendors from Yakuzas expansion.
