The Rewrite

Hugh Grant plays a washed-up screenwriter who begins teaching at Binghamton University, where he finds romance with a single mom (Marisa Tomei). He also forms friendships with mature students, including Clem Ronson (Steven Kaplan), a shy and awkward nerd whose script garners the interest of his agent. As Keith Michaels navigates his new life in upstate New York, he must confront his personal demons and rediscover his passion for writing.
