Six contestants, chosen from thousands of applicants, compete in $la$her$, a Japanese blood sport game show where they must survive being hunted by costumed killers to win millions of dollars. Sarah Joslyn Crowder plays Megan Lowry, a 20-year-old law student and political activist, while Tony Curtis Blondell stars as Devon White, a 29-year-old ex-Marine and former boxer. The group faces various challenges, including the Bridge of Death, where they must confront each other and face deadly consequences if they fail to cooperate.
