The Rocker

Rainn Wilson stars as Robert "Fish" Fishman, a failed musician who gets a second chance at stardom when he's asked to perform with his teenage nephew's high school rock band. The drummer was abandoned by his band just before they became rock superstars in the 1980s, and now gets to play again twenty years later. After performing at a gig, Fish is offered a recording contract by the same label as his former band Vesuvius, and goes on tour with A.D.D., despite his antics causing trouble for the other members and their parents. The film follows Fish's journey from humble beginnings to rockstardom, with the help of his nephew Matt, friends Curtis and Amelia, and a groupie named Kim.
