Gangsterzy i filantropi

The 1963 Polish black-and-white comedy-crime film "Gangsterzy i filantropi" consists of two satirical novels based on the same idea: both the "gangsters" and "philanthropists" end up in the courtroom. The film features Gustaw Holoubek as 'Profesor' (segment nr 1) and Wiesław Michnikowski as Anastazy Kowalski (segment nr 2), with his wife Hanka Bielicka also appearing alongside Magdalena Celówna-Janikowska, Barbara Modelska. The movie premiered on February 15, 1963, as part of a short documentary titled "Co się komu podoba". It received generally positive reviews from critics, who praised the film's satirical humor and comedic performances.
