The Sunchaser

A young half-Navajo convict dying of cancer, Brandon "Blue" Monroe (Jon Seda), forces a wealthy oncologist, Dr. Michael Reynolds (Woody Harrelson), to drive him to a magic healing lake. The two men are instantly at odds, separated by their education, class, race, and world views, but as they journey through the desert together, Michael comes to terms with a childhood secret that has haunted him. Blue's condition worsens, leading them to the Navajo reservation where they seek the guidance of a medicine man, Webster Skyhorse (Leon Skyhorse Thomas), who directs Blue to the lake.
