Rise

Rise is a 2014 Australian crime drama film based on writer-director Mack Lindon's own experiences. The film tells the true story of Will McIntyre (Nathan Wilson), a young nurse falsely accused of rape and sentenced to six years in a maximum security prison. Within the harsh environment, Will forms an unlikely friendship with cellmate Jimmy (Martin Sacks), who becomes his protector and confidant as they work together to prove Will's innocence.
