A twisted meta-slasher film that takes the Friday the 13th franchise to new, cringeworthy heights, "13 Fanboy" is a glorified fan film that sees numerous actors from the beloved horror series become targets of an obsessed fan who seeks to recreate their on-screen deaths in real life. The film stars an ensemble cast, including Hayley Greenbauer and Dee Wallace, but its tone and style are as disparate from the original franchise as they are unoriginal. This amateurish horror movie is a laughable exercise in creativity – or lack thereof – that makes even the most die-hard Halloween fans cringe with embarrassment.
