Goodbye Lover

Sandra Dunmore (Patricia Arquette) is an adulterous woman who, along with her brother-in-law Jake (Dermot Mulroney), orchestrates a murder plot against his wife and lover, Ben. Detective Sergeant Rita Pompano (Ellen DeGeneres) investigates the crime, uncovering a complex web of deceit and corruption that leads to Sandra's eventual downfall. As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that Sandra is willing to do whatever it takes to protect her own interests, even if it means framing an innocent person for murder.
