The Octopus

In the gritty world of private investigation, Gabriel Le Poulpe (Jean-Pierre Darroussin) is a laid-back anti-hero drawn to the port town of Angerneau, where his lover Clotilde awaits, bound by obligations she'd rather leave behind. As he unravels the dark underbelly of Angernau's cargo ships and crumbling graves, Le Poulpe stumbles upon a tangled web of crime that refuses to be ignored, with a dash of black humor to keep things from getting too serious.
