The Spirit

Denny Colt (Gabriel Macht) returns from the beyond as The Spirit, a ghost-like superhero who defends Central City from the Octopus (Samuel L. Jackson). Sand Saref (Eva Mendes), his childhood sweetheart and a femme fatale jewel thief, is after the Blood of Heracles to become immortal. The Spirit must stop the Octopus's plan, which also involves Silken Floss (Scarlett Johansson) and Commissioner Eustace Dolan's daughter Ellen (Sarah Paulson).
