A smooth-talking Hollywood agent, Jordan is turned upside-down after taking part in a similar secret pact, and he obsessively investigates its source and the identity of his anonymous partner. As he delves deeper, he encounters a sinister world of lying, infidelity, and digital data, all while struggling to reconcile his life with his fiancée Caroline. In the end, Jordan's behavior becomes obnoxious, but ultimately, it is his honesty that leads to redemption.
