A documentary crew makes a film about Alzheimer's patients, including Deborah Logan, which descends into a maddening portrayal of dementia as strange events begin to plague the family and crew, leading them to wonder if Deborah is possessed by an unspeakable malevolence, and they eventually uncover dark secrets from her past.
