The Pebble and the Boy

In this 2021 British comedy-drama film, a young man from Manchester embarks on a journey to Brighton, the spiritual home of the Mods, riding his father's prized Lambretta scooter left in his care. Along the way, he meets his friend Nicki and her son Logan, who join him for a wild ride through the UK, encountering various incidents and learning more about John's father's past along the way. The film is a nostalgic trip into the mod subculture, set to classic 80s Mod tracks on its soundtrack, with director Chris Green drawing from his own experiences as a mod in the 1980s.
