The Gendarme in New York

Sergeant Cruchot and his faithful comrades have been sent to the International Congress of Gendarmerie in N.Y., but things take an unexpected turn when Cruchot's daughter Nicole sneaks onto a ship bound for America, seeking adventure and independence. As Cruchot frantically searches for her, he must navigate New York City's streets, outsmarting NYPD officers and Sicilian gangsters along the way. With his trademark bumbling charm, Cruchot eventually reunites with Nicole in the Big Apple, but not before a series of hilarious misadventures.
