L.A. Without a Map

In this 1998 romantic comedy-drama film, a British undertaker and aspiring screenwriter impulsively follows an American aspiring actress to Los Angeles after they have a brief fling in North England. As he navigates his new life, Richard's relationships with the woman he loves are put to the test by her existing partner, leading to a series of misunderstandings and misadventures. Alongside his new friends and colleagues, Richard learns about the goings-on in Hollywood and finds success as a screenwriter, ultimately rekindling his romance with Barbara and starting anew in their hometown of Bradford.
