The Man on the Other Side

In 1974, Sophie Zimmermann (Mari Bensel), a young West German government official, is being hunted and must find out the identity of her mysterious captor, Dieter Schäfer (Nils Schulz). She teams up with an Englishman (James Carney) who claims to be an MI6 agent, but she soon discovers that he's also working for the BND intelligence agency. As Sophie tries to escape and uncover the truth about Dieter, she must navigate a web of espionage and deception in 1970s Cold War Germany.
