On the brink of turning 30, Andrew Garfield as Jonathan Larson navigates love, friendship and the pressure to create something great before time runs out in this biographical musical drama film. The film follows Larson's journey as he juggles his relationships, work at a diner, and struggles to complete his eponymous musical, Tick, Tick... Boom!, with the help of friends like Robin de Jesús' character Michael and girlfriend Alexandra Shipp's character Susan Wilson.
