In a dystopian United States ravaged by war, sexy nightclub owner Barb Wire moonlights as a mercenary in Steel Harbor, one of the last free zones. When scientist Cora Devonshire wanders into her club, Barb is roped into a top-secret government plot involving biological weapons, reuniting her with old flame Axel Hood, now Cora's husband and a guerrilla fighter, amidst plenty of tense action.
