Nitram

Based on true events, Nitram is a biographical psychological drama that tells the story of a young man living in suburban Australia in the mid-90s who struggles to fit in and find his place in life. With growing frustration and anger, he begins a slow descent into madness, ultimately culminating in one of the most heinous crimes in Australian history. The film is based on the true story of Martin Bryant, also known as "Nitram," whose actions led to the 1996 Port Arthur massacre.
