Tom and Jerry are two hit men who work by day at a third-rate second-hand car dealership, their attitude towards their profession differing significantly as Jerry navigates his role as Tom's novice protégé. As they await their next target, the film shifts to a flashback set ten years earlier, where we see Jerry join Tom as a youth employed at Billy's used car dealership, and Tom promise to look into a local gangster who bit off Karl's nephew's nose. Along the way, Jerry becomes emotionally invested in the stories of their victims, leading to a series of tense and violent confrontations with Tom, who struggles to keep his partner's feelings in check. The film is a dark comedy that explores the complexities of mentorship and the blurred lines between profession and morality.
