The Wrestler

Aging professional wrestler Randy "The Ram" Robinson struggles to make ends meet in New Jersey while wrestling on weekends, taking illegal pain-meds and pursuing a relationship with a stripper named Pam. He tries to reconnect with his estranged daughter, Stephanie, but faces rejection. Despite the lure of the ring, he hangs up his tights only to be pulled back in by the thrill of competition and the adoration of his fans, leading to a shocking and ultimately heartbreaking conclusion.
